Post Should I get Mr Lutes Jar of Fools and Berlin vol 1 and II ?
I saw earlier this month someone post about Mr Lutes books, was it our moderator or ?
I also read in Dark Horse Presents Annual, that 'he who I must not mention' likes his work,I like his taste in music and comics though I want to get a broader point of view,

has anyone else here read Jar of Fools and Berlin ?
is it worth getting ?

I'm this close to buying the books,as I saw my Chris Ware give a cool quote for Jar so....what do you think ?

peace.

Absolutely. Don't even think twice about it.

I really wish The Fall, his work with Ed Brubaker, was back in print. It was the first time I was exposed to Lutes and made me a fan for life.

Did anyone ever collect that? There is also a really great Lutes solo story we did in DHP, I think #125, when the script for The Fall was delayed and had to be postponed.

They could probably put The Fall and An Accidental Death together, along with other Brubaker bric-a-bac, and make a pretty decent Ed sampler.
