Post Madman Sculpture
I posted a few shots of my new Madman sculpture over at my sketchblog. Let me know what you think.

That's a nice piece of work. What materials did you use?

Both the sculpture AND those crazy Twin Peaks images are spectacular!

I'm envious. Jealous and envious. Why wasn't I born with that incredible amount of talent? I couldn't help but pull out Madman Comics # 1 and compare the source material to your sculpture. Let me say you did an extremely great job, sir. I'm just.... I'm jealous! :D

Thanks all for giving my work a look over.
I use Super Sculpy (oven bake clay) which is pretty easy to work with. I was thinking about doing "The Living End" lettering for it as well....what do you think or should i just let it be.
I just finished a Twin Peaks marathon which inspired my Twin Peaks Week on the sketch blog.

I think i am going to try and do more comic book paneled based sculptures as sort of a series. What would be some panels you would want to see?

I don't really have any favorites. Maybe stick away from doing only Marvel/DC characters and give some others some love, y'know?

Really, though, I think it should be left up to you what you want to do. Find something that jazzes you but challenges you as well.

Any panel from Flaming Carrot that you would find interesting would be cool to see in 3D. Perhaps FC with mini-Abraham Lincoln in the palm of his hand? ;)

Again, great work!

"But...the knowledge!" Actually, I trust your leanings and inclinations more than my suggestions. That just popped into my head.

Amazing, amazing work. Your blog is full of rock. And not the kind Charlie Brown gets in his Trick or Treat bag.
