 Celebrate Fellow Allred Board Members
Since Mike, the supremely awesome talent and center of this board's existence, has forsaken us for social networks and blogs , I have found this to be a rather lonely place. I've mentioned something like this a few times before in other postings. Lately though, since I've returned to the board, I've been seeing some familiar names pop up with responses for my random posts. There's still life in this baby! I want to take this opportunity to suggest that we celebrate our "Allred Boardies" and every week honor one of the group. I know we haven't had the pleasure of meeting in person, but through the years of reading and contributing we've kind of gotten to know one another at least a little bit. For example I know that Jamie prefers to wear a uniform when spending time on the board and that that uniform is restricted to only monogrammed, silk red socks which he calls his "JSR's." Also, Brian is actually a Guardian of Oa in "Whiteface" here to amuse himself as he observes the folly of heated human geek chatter. There's Tony S., a fellow who claims to be from Australia but is actually a haunted, comic book-loving computer in a storage locker somewhere on the grounds of Akron Community College. There are many more secrets out there in the board community and it is those and other attributes we should discuss and celebrate. Who's with me? Also, I'd like to say thanks to everyone so far for the great discussions I've encountered from my pissy first few months hating Manga (sorry Jamie and Lee) to my later days locking my old user name out and having to use my alias. It's been great to be a part of this group.

I secretly think Audrey Hepburn would have made the perfect voice for Luna the cat on Sailor Moon.

I find that walking backwards to "Erase" my missteps in the grocery store when I head down a wrong aisle soothes my mind. It irritates other shoppers to no end but it makes my life seem more special and complete.

Sorry to hear you locked yourself out of your old account on here. As I haven't done that, I don't know what to suggest to get it fixed.
As for celebrating a fellow member each week, I check in here regularly every day or three and will gladly comment on anything I see that's been updated...
... I don't know anything about Sailor Moon, though, so you'll have to count me out of that discussion.

Re: Celebrate Fellow Allred Board Members
When I was in high school I saw an ad for a Sailor Moon t-shirt in the Previews catalogue (or whatever it was called at the time) - it showed her in her trademark "Victory!" pose with the word "FRISKY!" in big bold letters underneath. I ordered it, but it never came in; probably the shop clerk just didn't want me to get beat up.

I used to work with a woman years ago obsessed with Sailor Moon so much so that an entire room of her house was solely devoted to it. She had tons of VHS copies, action figures up the wazoo, beach towels, autographs from the Japanese voice talent, SNES videogame cartridges, glitter wands, about two dozen different halloween costumes, silk posters... you name it, chances are she had it (yes, even the seven balls *lol*). Heck, I would be willing to bet what Matt has with Allred memorabilia, Becky had with Sailor Moon.

Mainly because there's only a finite amount of it out there. I don't have either of these for example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/0-ASHCAN-SPECIA ... 230766870ahttp://www.ebay.com/itm/GIRL-Atomics-Mi ... 3cbc879fe3

They're both great items Matt, and actually amongst the favourites in my collection. IT ashcan cover reminds me of another fave, the Wizard Ace Edition of Madman 1, and the IT Girl bust is such a great sculpt!
