 The DC Reboot
Taking bets on how long this lasts? Or at least how long before they roll back to the legacy issue numbering?

 Re: The DC Reboot
I think it'll last all the way to the next major crossover. Can't they sweeten the pot for us with some glittery, die-cut, scrap-book lookin' covers or something?

 Re: The DC Reboot
Who knows. I think its mostly a desperate attempt to pull in new readers via digital. The only news that really grabbed me was that Grant Morrison is writing Superman.
The one other piece that interests me is that supposedly the new world will be more diverse. However, rumors are that Barbara Gordon is going back to being Batgirl. I always liked the idea of a kick-ass woman in a wheelchair, seeing as disability is rarely brought up in discussions of diversity. I suppose time will tell.

 Re: The DC Reboot
didn't know Morrison was writing Superman. i'll look at that. Azz and Chaing on Wonder Woman has me interested. and as long as Scott Snyder stays on Detective no one will get hurt. other than that, it probably won't change what i buy too much. but i'm not exactly a superhero reader.

 Re: The DC Reboot
I'll continue to pick up the titles I usually follow, GL/Flash/Batman.
The Wonder Woman with Cliff Chiang has me excited. It's about time he was on a regular book... his stuff is too pretty to keep only getting little tastes of.
Stuff like Aquaman, Hawkman, and the new Red Lanterns book I'll give a try since I enjoy the characters... but I'd have tried them anyway without a hokey #1 issue.

 Re: The DC Reboot
DC could really have done without this, this thinking is really short term and will backfire, all the secondary series will be cancelled right away, like 10 or so issues, I would really be disappointed if they renumber Action and Detective,I mean, seriously,it took 75 years to get to that number, why throw it away, and one more thing, why give high profile books to artists who have never written a book in their life ?, e.g. Batwoman,Flash etc. etc.
I enjoy legacy numbering the most,I'll still be buying DC comics more than Marvel though in a lesser capacity, unless my fave creators are doing the book ,
peace.

 Re: The DC Reboot
So the JH Williams' Batwoman is still on? I haven't had much interest in the product DC has been putting out of late, but I did enjoy Elegy & was kind of looking forward to this. As for Mr. Solomun's comments, JH actually co-wrote a cool lil' Batman miniseries entitled Snow that was penciled by the late, great Seth Fisher. He also co-wrote a Hellboy story in one of the Weird Tales books.

 Re: The DC Reboot
I greatly enjoyed that Snow story arc that he did with Seth Fisher on. Gotta go look to see if that's been collected somewhere...
