 Re: TOP GEAR
Yeah, the Alaska trip was fun to watch - and they had to resort to the truck that Top Gear UK could not kill - the Toyota Hilux. Next week is the finale for this season, let's see if the chemistry shows an improvement on set. I'm suspecting that much of this has to do with the whole first season air of the show and them getting into a groove. If Adam leaves, I won't mind, I'd hate to lose the other two. However, Adam was certainly in the spirit of things this week with the rest of them!

 Re: TOP GEAR
Considering it was only like 8 episodes, it is definitely making improvements over that really awkward first episode.

 Re: TOP GEAR
I was hoping that the 'Best of Top Gear" would be a conversation with the guys and not just a clip show. The commercials for it made it look like they were going to do some behind the scenes junk and outtakes. oh well.
The good news, if you could call it that, Adam seemed more at ease in the studio. If it comes back for a second season, i wouldn't mind seeing Adam, if he loosens up.

 Re: TOP GEAR
I was a bit let down with the clip show too. But I know the UK opener for season 16 is waiting for me to watch. Giving it some thought, sure Adam was a bit more relaxed (they all were), I still would say Adam is the weak link in the Top Gear chain. They need to get a James May-type. Not a clone, not 100% Captain Slow with a constant string of moaning and complaining about discomforts on journeys, but someone else to join Rutledge with an automotive journalism background. Oh, and to be the straight man for gags. Or maybe if Adam stops saying it isn't a makeover show at the top of every episode I'd be much happier.

 Re: TOP GEAR
i have come to the conclusion that i am okay with the Amercian Top Gear, because it does not air at the same time as the British version. And although the UK one is leaps and bounds above the US version, more Top Gear is better than no Top Gear. Although it is not the best, it has definitely become less cringe-worthy.

 Re: TOP GEAR
It's almost like they timed it that way deliberately, really. I'm OK with that! Still haven't watched last week's UK Top Gear (I'll probably still refer to it as Proper Top Gear, because I can see Clarkson saying it that way), but I may take care of that tonight.

 Re: TOP GEAR
Did you see this tweet from Rutledge Wood?
"Had lots of fun this week w/ @AdamFerrara & @TannerFoust Top Gear Team Building '09 ! Can't wait to get home to my beautiful wife & babies"
Looks like Adam is staying on, but they are trying to amp up the chemistry.

 Re: TOP GEAR
Top Gear Team Building '09? Apparently the Top Gear crew are testing TARDISes now. Fine by me. If they can get the chemistry right, I'm a-ok with the lineup. Let's bring on the new season and see what we get!

 Re: TOP GEAR
I watched an episode last night of the UK Top Gear and it was pretty entertaining. It was Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. I was surprised by there times, unless the numbers were fudged.
