 "The Rocketeer" How come I found out about this the DAY of? I wanna go!  http://d23.disney.go.com/expo/062111.EE ... eteer.htmlI will say the fact they're going to be showing a digitally remastered version of the film and that there's going to be a 'special announcement' has my hopes up for a 20th Anniversary Special Edition.

Re: "The Rocketeer" I think it deserves - FINALLY - proper home video release on Blu Ray with all sorts of wonderful extras!

Re: "The Rocketeer" This presentation at the El Captain theatre said it was a new digitally remastered print and they were also showing deleted scenes and bonus stuff. Sounds to me like the fixins of a good BluRay set in the making! Fingers crossed....

Re: "The Rocketeer" After hours of investigative web searching, I discovered during the Q&A panel the question of a new DVD/Blu-Ray release was brought up. According to Disney there's no plans currently but the movie, deleted scenes, tribute to Dave Stevens and extras were all digitally remastered. That's a lot of trouble to go through for just a one-time only event. Plus the Q&A was videotaped so right there is a good sign it's not an absolutely 'no'.
