I was thumbing through my latest issue of the Atlantic when I discovered a picture of a guy I knew in high school. Turns out, he's a UT film guy whose step father was Robert Rodriguez. This is Aaron Burns' first major film and it looks like it has tons of heart and promise:

I don't think it's had a wide release yet (it just premiered at SXSW), but I think it'll be worth checking out. Independent films like this need all the love they can get, so if it looks interesting, please spread the word!
