well,whenever I buy a comic and it turns out to be completelty silent I feel cheated a bit,though if it 's by someone who knows how to do silent comics well and there are many panels,that is better,
indeed,silent comics can be more though provoking and profound than many devices,Jim Woodring does it best,and a few others,
