Post Thor: The Mighty Avenger
I'm a big fan of Chris Samnee and Roger Langridge, and they've been making a really fun Thor book... but it just got scrapped.
Has anyone else been reading this? It's worth a look, even if it is going bye-bye after #8.
Here's the word from Chris Samnee about it:

I've got both collections on preorder. It's a shame Marvel didn't give it time to reach people like me. I'd have bought the comic on a digital platform, too, had they exploited that avenue.

I was bummed it was ending with issue #8 as well. There've been several Marvel new-titles that I didn't know were going to have limited runs that are doing/have done this lately.

Agents of Atlas, the Hawkeye and Mockingbird book, Young All-Stars and now this. Bum-mer.

Update on Samnee's page!

It may not amount to anything, but apprently lots of folks are letting Marvel know that they like Thor: The Mighty Avenger... Something of a grass roots movement on facebook and twitter.
Again, it's a fun book, independent of any convoluted continuity. I think the pace and character dynamics would really appeal to most Madman fans.
If you're able, give it a try and see what you think. It might help keep a deserving book on the stands!

If they can publish Spider-Girl for as long as they have, then I think they can at least let a couple trades worth of Thor happen. Especially with the movie, you'd think they want all the non-hampered by continuity material they can get out there.

yeah, agreed, why is it that all the crap books get the reprieve ? whereas fantastic books like Thor The Mighty Avenger get axed, doesn't make any sense whatsoever, sure sales weren't as good, though I've seen books with less sales go on for both Marvel and DC,
I wish both Chris and Roger Langridge the best in future for their books,I really liked this series,

peace.
