Picked up the issue yesterday, but sadly no Cooke cover to be found.
The direction they're coming out at makes it look really snazzy.
Did anybody else read this issue this week?

Yeah, I read it. I'm a huge fan of pretty much whatever Nick Spencer does. That said, it does suffer a bit from a creator so well known for his creator owned work being filtered by the company. Doesn't make it bad, it just makes it less Nick and more DC.

I really didn't enjoy it much, but I'm going to give it a try. I've never read the original material but meant to. Maybe that'd help my appreciation level some?

I finally got around to reading The Outfit this weekend. What fun stuff! Darwyn rocked it. I loved the explanations of all the different cons & Parker is such a slick badass. If you haven't made the time, you should.
