Dear Mike and Chris,
Thank you for releasing this on my birthday. You are both very thoughtful.
Not fishing for birthday attention at all,

I'll be avoiding this thread and all you Deep Sea Anglers, as I won't get my copy 'til the middle a' the month.

Clearly, Matt, you misunderstand the what it means to avoid something. I fear any stray animals that cross in front of you on the road when you turn your car to "avoid" them.

I was planning on avoiding this thread AFTER posting what I did. But now, you've suckered me back into looking at it again! Luckily for me, nobody has left any feedback on the issue. But rest assured, I won't be viewing this thread again 'til I get the new issue. Oh, you sneaky smart-mouth!

Finally, got my hands on #9 (although I'm still trying to hunt down #8. Both of my semi-local comic stores keep saying they're going to get reorders). Great great stuff although without knowledge of what happened in issue #8 I feel like I'm in one of the flashforward episodes of Lost. The art and colors as always are fantastic! Can't wait to get issue 8 and ten for that matter.
